Series Water Fountain

The Pipcar water fountain is the ideal way to cool cores where direct water-cooling is felt necessary.  It is designed as a simple plug-in component.  It is uniquely universal - it employs a single water inlet (denoted by the locating pin) and three alternative water outlets.  O-rings are fitted either side of the feed/return holes to eliminate water leakage.

Figure 1 together with table 1 show the available sizes.

In general, the core should be drilled out to the largest possible diameter that can be accommodated without unduly weakening it. The appropriate size water fountain tube should then be chosen in accordance with table 2. Then select the optimum size manifold (body) to suit the specific tool layout.

The locating pin denotes the water inlet point whilst the appropriate water outlet drilling will be automatically selected by the waterway drilling within the tool.

Temperature Ranges

Pipcar water fountains are suitable for use between -40C and +125C although please note that the smaller diameter fountain tubes are not generally recommended for use with chilled water (below 10C) because of the increased pressure drop penalty.
